Prize Distribution - Southeast Asian Regional Competition

Using GSVC judging criteria, the judging panel will award prizes to the most outstanding blended value ventures that show the highest, most integrated financial and social returns.

  • Grand Prize (two teams): $4,000 each. The winning teams will represent Southeast Asian Region in the Global Round at UC Berkeley in April 2009.
  • Best Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Prize (1 team): $2,000. The plan of SIA winner will be submitted to the Global Round to complete to win the Best global SIA Prize.

Subsidized travel


  • Thammasat Business School reimburses the travel and board cost for 2 team members from each team that is selected to present the plan in the Southeast Asian Final at Thammasat Business School, Thailand. Other team members and the faculty representative are welcome to attend at their own expenses.
  • Thammasat Business School subsidizes the travel and accommodation costs for 2 team members from each winning teams from the Southeast Asian Final to attend the GSVC Global Round at Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, USA.
